Hello girls….. it has been awhile, sorry! I had to come on here and talk about this. I hope to save you some money. Saving money on one beauty item allows you to spend money on more beauty items (or a great pair of shoes.) I have tried both, and I hate to say it…but the Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing system works just as well as the Clarisonic. Sorry to all of you who have paid in the hundreds for the Clarisonic. I do have to admit that the bristles on the Clarisonic are just a bit softer, they both do an amazing job. I hope this has helped, and saved you a bit on money. Ohhh, and I bought mine at Costco. My skin has to look amazing for the Royal Wedding on April 29th. haha. Have a great day girls!!!!

Social Media….What I Have Learned!!!!

I did not know too much about Social Media before taking a course in it. It is a great tool for so many things. It can help you find a job, get make-up tips, perfect a resume, share your feelings, and so much more. I think the most interesting thing I learned about Social Media is the hidden job market. There are so many jobs out there that are never posted on job boards. I get many emails from the groups I have joined in LinkedIn. I have perfected my resume through articles that have been posted on Twitter. I have met with a group of NJ Professionals looking for jobs through LinkedIn Groups. I plan to use Social Media to find my dream job. I have learned a lot of valuable information from this class, and continue to learn new things everyday about it. Threading..much better then waxing!!!

Threading is a technique that gets rid of unwanted hair. I get my eyebrows threaded, but they are many other uses for threading. Threading is exactly what it sounds like, thread is used in a technique that wraps around the hair to pull it out. It sounds painful, but hurts less than waxing. It is a technique practiced by Indian’s. You will usually find it in an Indian Salon. I know they now have Kiosk’s at some malls that do it. Threading gives you an amazing arch, and a crisp clean look. It is also better on your skin than waxing. Hope you look into it…..you will LOVE it.

“Wow, your eyelashes are beautiful” That is what everyone says to my friend when we are out. She has the most amazing eyelashes, if you did not know any better, you would think they are false lashes. She has told me about the product she uses, but I just never felt the need to buy it after the bad experience I had with Latisse. Well today I ordered it, and I can not wait until it comes. It works amazing!!!! I know first hand from my friend. Let me know if anyone has had experience with it??? it is called LI LASH

I am a Sephora follower…but I have come to find a new GEM, it is called UTLA. It is like Sephora, but has a lot more hair products and hair tools…there is also a salon in most of them. If you sign up for their “the club at ULTA” card you will get points, and receive a bunch of coupons. It is a great place to get all your beauty needs…and with the Holidays coming up, they have a lot of cute little gifts that are around $10-$20 dollars. Happy Shopping Girls…..

Want That Sex Kitten Hair?????

Ever want hair that has the WOW factor??? Well listen up sex kittens……. Here is what I do to achieve amazing results!!!!

Wash hair with a volumanizing shampoo & conditioner …I like Paul Mitchell
Towel dry and apply a volumanizing mouse and scrunch at the roots then comb through, also use a little straightening gel at the ends to make it smooth..
Use a vent brush and a round vented brush to blowdry…pull hair up and blowdry roots…hold there for a few secs…do section by section
Velcro rollers- Take small sections of your hair and spray with an aerosol hairspray (not too much) and roll in velcro roller, continue for whole head
Once all rollers are in…spray head once again…now take the blowdryer and apply heat to each roller for a few seconds
Let rest for 5 minutes, repeat the heat step on each roller
Let the rollers stay in your hair for at least 20 minutes

Take rollers out, and tease each section with a teasing comb!!!!! OH AND SPRAY AGAIN!!!!!!

VIOLA………. NOW YOU HAVE AMAZING HAIR!!!!!! ENJOY SEX KITTEN!!!!!!

I am always looking for new and exciting beauty secrets to try. I would have to say my favorite is using St. Ives Apricot Scrub on my face. When I use this it gives my face a nice smooth feel, not to mention a great glow. I could go on and on about my favorites, but I would like to hear for you. Do you have a favorite product, or maybe a beauty secret passed down from your mother or grandmother? Hope to hear from you…..

Hair on a Budget!!!

We all know times are tough right now, but we still need to look and feel good. I have always spent a pretty penny on my hair, but not having a job right now makes it difficult to splurge on it. So here are some suggestions for beautiful hair on a budget. I have been taking Biotin 5mg (you can get this from any drug-store or supermarket), this vitamin is great for hair, skin, and nails. When I take this it makes my hair grow like a weed. Once every two weeks I use Neutrogena Anti-Residue formula shampoo to cleanse my hair. This shampoo gets rid of all the build up from styling products. Your hair will be super shinny when you are done. Last but not least you need to get a trim to keep your hair looking healthy. I go to Supercuts to get his done. I get one “good” haircut a year, and every three months I go to Supercuts. Supercuts will cost you around $15-$20. You do not need to get your hair washed or blowdryed, this adds on more money. I know there are some skeptics right now, but if you tell them exactly what you want, and dont let them talk you into anything else you might be surprised with the results. My hair always comes out great when I go there, but I am very specific about what I want. If you do all of this you will not need the fancy salons and fancy price tags of services and products. Hey Girls….. Today I will be talking about MASCARA. If you are like me, we crave those long thick lashes that we see on print ads, or TV. Well I did a little research on my own and came up with a favorite. I got a response from about 25 people to find what mascara they could not live without. The winner by a landslide was Dior Show, I would have to say that this also is my favorite. It is a little on the pricy side, but there is good news for my budgetista’s! You can get amazing lashes for about $7.00 with Loreal Voluminous and Loreal Extra Volume Collagen. I feel all three work very well, and with two different price points a girl can’t go wrong. Tired Today Because the Yankees Won Last Night???

If you are like me, you are feeling sluggish this morning. It was a great game last night, but most of us did not get to bed until early this morning.
